Domain Blocking

The easiest way to block domains is by choosing from dozens of categories. OpenDNS also gives you the power to block specific websites, so you can protect your network at home, at the office, or anywhere else DNS is used.
Simple and speedy
Enter a domain in the Blocked Domains settings screen in your Dashboard. It's blocked on your network in 3 minutes.
Pinpoint control, with broad power
- Block only part of a site, like mail.yahoo.com, leaving the rest of yahoo.com alone.
- Block an entire domain, such as myspace.com. (When you block a domain, you block what is technically called a "zone." This means it also blocks all sub-domains.)
- Block an entire top-level domain (TLD) at once, like .info.

Brand the block page
You can use the custom image feature to let everyone on your network know that you're watching out for them.
Users can contact you
Your users can contact you directly from the block page if they have questions. It'll show up as an email in your inbox.
